One of the most common questions people ask me is what about dairy when dieting.
Dairy is good for dieting and studies show that it can help you lose weight.
But I don’t like all kinds of dairy in my weight loss programs.
Allowed: low fat greek yogurt, low fat cottage cheese, and whey protein powder
These are allowed because they are high in protein and low in fat, carbs and calories…which make them excellent diet foods.
Not Allowed: milk, cheese,
One of the first questions will be about cheese. I know you see it when people advertise keto but they use this as more of a selling point than anything.
Cheese is one of those things that packs a load of fat calories with little protein and is one of the easiest foods to abuse.
Milk has a higher carb content in relation to protein plus people who drink it tend to drink ALOT of it.
Remember old school bodybuilders used to drink a gallon of milk a day when bulking up.
This is why I don’t allow cheese or milk on my diet.
